Lille Grand Palais is involved in professional and international associations representing event organization professionals. The aim is to exchange ideas on the evolution of our professions and, above all, to innovate in order to improve our customers’ experience. Lille Grand Palais is involved with the Tourist Office and Nord France Convention Bureau in numerous trade shows to promote Lille Metropole as a destination and showcase the attractiveness of the region: Lille’s Meeting, Nord France Convention Bureau, Hello Lille.

HELLO LILLE

Created in February 2019, on the initiative of the Métropole Européenne de Lille, the CCI Région Hauts-de-France and Entreprises et Cités, the Hello Lille Attractiveness Agency aims to develop the territorial, tourist and economic appeal of destination Lille through its Hello Lille brand.
Its missions:

  • Increase tourist numbers and develop business tourism in particular
  • Support bids for major events, participate in their organization and promotion, and measure their impact in order to improve their spinoffs throughout the metropolitan area.
  • Prospect for all types of investors likely to be interested in the city’s opportunities, particularly in real estate.
  • To promote and deploy the “hello lille” brand, and to carry out all actions useful for territorial marketing in France and internationally, as a vector of attractiveness in support of actions aimed at the economic and tourist development of the metropolis.

ICCA: INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS AND CONVENTION ASSOCIATION

Brings event organizers together on a single platform (worldwide directory), and helps to feed future agendas.

COESIO

Founded in 1975, the AIVFC, under its new name COESIO, brings together some fifty event destinations: venues (Palaces, Centers) and Convention Bureaus, providing organizers with a global offer for the destination. The members share the same objectives: to develop a climate of exchange between them, and cooperative relations with the users of their structures, in order to be a force for development and anticipation in the business of professional meetings.

UIA: Union of International Associations

Brussels-based research institute and documentation center. Non-profit, non-political, independent and non-governmental in nature, the UIA has been a pioneer in researching, monitoring and providing information on international organizations, international associations and their global challenges since 1907.

UNIMEV: Union Française des Métiers de l'Evénement (French Union of Event Trades)

UNIMEV is the only trade organization representing all players in the professional meetings sector: organizers of trade fairs, exhibitions, congresses and sporting events, venue managers and service providers. It has over 400 members, representing 85% of the sector’s activity by value, and represents them in dealings with public authorities, professional bodies, the press and the general public.

FRANCE CONGRES ET EVENEMENTS

France Congrès et Evénements brings together 50 towns and cities that make hosting and organizing business meetings (and events for the general public) a key factor in their economic development, and an important vector for their image. France Congrès et Evénements is committed to quality, sustainable development, promotion of its members and the industry, territorial marketing (…), and innovation with the recent creation of Innov&Tech©, a collaborative space designed to stimulate the emergence of new offers and solutions. The organization also favors direct relations with client-organizers (companies, federations, agencies, etc.).

LILLE EVENTS

Lille Events was created under the French law of 1901 to respond effectively to the growing demands of companies and agencies in the business tourism and events market who wish to organize an event in the heart of the hub that Lille and its region represent today.

With a view to positioning and qualifying professionals in the business tourism sector, Lille Events brings together all the assets required by corporate event organizers: all professions and skills are brought together within the association. What’s more, a quality charter, shared by all Lille Events members, guarantees the very best know-how from each of our professionals in every field.

The professionals at Lille Events have joined forces to pursue a proactive, structuring approach based on a single objective: to offer a quality service, tailored to meet every demand.

ALLIANCE NETWORK

Since 1993, the mission of Réseau Alliances has been to contribute to the economic transformation and growth of the Hauts-de-France region, by introducing the CSR approach to as many companies as possible. Réseau Alliances is the network of entrepreneurs for responsible growth, supporting companies and economic players:

  • throughout their approach, whatever their level of CSR maturity
  • along thematic lines: Strategy & Organization, Mobilizing Stakeholders around CSR, Diversity, Sustainable Mobility, Economy of Functionality and Cooperation, Social Innovation.

These actions range from awareness-raising (visits, conferences) to collective support (training, best practice exchange workshops), or even individualized support (diagnostics, CSR action plan management).

Réseau Alliances also works to promote CSR in the Hauts-de-France region through the organization of the World Forum on the Responsible Economy, the first international event organized in France on the subject, and aims to promote the development of a responsible economy by highlighting the best practices of companies from all over the world. Over the past 12 years, it has demonstrated, through concrete examples, that economic performance can be ensured and improved through a more respectful approach to people and the environment.

WINNING CLUB

CCFB: CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE FRANCO-BELGE DU NORD DE LA FRANCE (Information, Training, Networking)

The Franco-Belgian Chamber of Commerce of Northern France (CCFB), part of the network of Belgian chambers of commerce abroad, has 450 members, including Belgian, French and some Luxembourg companies. Its main mission is to assist Belgian and Luxembourg companies in their development in France.

The CCFB provides information on regulations, taxation and, more generally, advice on setting up a business in France.
The CCFB regularly organizes technical breakfasts on Franco-Belgian topics, luncheon debates with prestigious speakers, company visits, a Franco-Belgian golf tournament, B2B meetings, etc., to enable its Belgian and French member companies to learn from each other and expand their network of contacts.

In 2015, the Franco-Belgian Chamber of Commerce moved into a new building at 130, boulevard de la Liberté in Lille. Members can schedule their meetings and seminars in the various offices and meeting rooms, and use the coworking space on the first floor.

CLUB DES ASSISTANTES DE DIRECTION

The Club des Assistantes de Direction is a Lille-based association created in April 2005, with the aim of creating a “PROFESSIONAL NETWORK” dedicated to Executive Assistants and Attachées de Direction.

The Club develops partnerships and maintains privileged contacts with companies representing all sectors of activity and institutions.
The Association’s mission is to organize meetings and/or events on all themes and issues that fall within the Club’s and its members’ areas of competence. The aim is to help members keep pace with the ever-changing world of business through themed meetings.
The Club’s main mission is therefore to facilitate contacts and mutual assistance between its members in the course of their professional activities.
