The lille3000 program
Today, this openness to the world is reflected in the lille3000 program.
A recurring event that invites visitors to discover new cultures through a wide range of festivities: exhibitions, shows, open-air installations, parades, etc. Following on from Bombaysers de Lille (2006), Europe XXL (2009), Fantastic (2012) and Renaissance (2015), Eldorado (2019 ) promises to be an edition focused on Mexico and its culture, with a varied program inviting everyone to travel, and arousing curiosity and the desire to dream at the mention of a known or little-known country.
Thanks to its project to accelerate the transformation of its territory through design, the European Metropolis of Lille has been selected by the World Design Organization to represent the ” World Design Capital ” in 2020.
